The green tea benefits of green tea can help those with cancer, a New Zealand company says.
The company, Green Tea Benefits, has received a $1.4 million government grant to commercialise its tea bag, which can be used to store water and tea, as well as other products.
Green Tea Benefits founder and CEO Paul Henson said the company was excited about the development, which is funded by the New Zealand government and has been in the works for more than two years.
“It’s exciting to be working with a government body like the NZ government, who really believes in green tea, and who really values the products we’re selling,” Mr Henson told ABC Radio New Zealand.
“We can take the product out and we can put it in a bag and it will be safe and it’s easy to use.”
He said the bags were the first in the world to offer the benefits of tea and tea bags, which contain vitamins, minerals and trace elements, which are commonly used in green teas.
“People who are interested in the benefits and the use of tea, it’s something they should really look at,” Mr Tull said.
Green tea benefitsThe Green Tea Benefit was developed by Green Tea Technologies, which has a plant-based product line that includes green tea bags and other green teabags.
“This is an important development for the Green Tea Industry in New Zealand and New Zealand’s farmers,” Mr Pritchard said.
“As we look to the future, we’re excited about where this technology will be in the coming years and the future opportunities for New Zealand farmers.”
Green Tea Products will offer a variety of products, including teabag and tea bag varieties.
Mr Tuck said there were two key benefits to the product.
“One is that it’s a safe, low-cost product that people can afford,” he said.
He said people could use it as a bag to store their tea or as a tea bag to keep tea in.
“You could take a tea cup, put it into a bag, and put it on the table and take it with you.
You can use it for a few days, put a couple of bags in it and take the tea out of the bag and then put it back in again.””
The other benefit is that you can keep tea out for longer.
When you have a tea in a tea sack, you can hold it up, hold it for long periods of time.””
You can have tea in it for about five minutes and it can stay there.”
If you put it out, you could go to bed with it.
“Green tea bagsThe GreenTea Benefits tea bag contains two main components, water and a green tea extract.
It can be sold in either a disposable bag or a tea box that can be taken to a coffee shop or grocery store.”
The water is very low-sodium, so if you want a tea that’s rich in calcium, you’re going to need it in that water,” Mr Naidoo said.”[Green Tea Benefit’s] water is a good source of calcium, and it is very nutritious for you.
“What we really need is a lot of water and it has the capacity to store up to a tonne of it.”
“Green Tea Product has a lot more capacity than any other tea product that’s been developed in New Zealander.”
Mr Henson is hopeful of a major market for the product in the future.
“Our market is growing,” he told ABC New Zealand, adding that he was excited to see the product be used by farmers in the New South Wales and South Australia regions.
“There are lots of people out there who are going to benefit from this.”
“This would not have been possible without the help of the New York State Department of Agriculture, the New England Food and Drug Administration, and the New Zealand Food and Agricultural Development Agency.”
He added that the company’s products would not be available for sale to New Zealand consumers, and that the product was unlikely to be available in Australia.
GreenTea Benefits will have a store in Auckland and will be working to expand into other New Zealand cities.
