I love elderberry.
It’s an herbal tea with a bright green color, and my favorite tea in the world.
So when I heard that a tea shop in Tokyo is opening a cafe dedicated to the green tea, I was intrigued.
It looks pretty impressive.
And that’s exactly what it is.
The elderberry café is opening this Saturday in the Tokyo Botanical Gardens.
The cafe is serving up tea and coffee with a blend of the green and red teas that have been aged in oak barrels and filtered to remove their unique aromas and flavors.
You can even order tea made from elderberries and be sure to buy the green version of the coffee, too.
It might seem like a small addition to a café that I can get behind.
But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t love the idea.
It seems like a lot of the cafe’s customers are tea lovers, and elderberry seems like an ideal addition to that group.
The café has been open since July and I’ve only been able to try a single cup of coffee, but I’m sure I’ll be back for more.
And if I don’t want to spend $7.50 on a cup of tea, why not take a little more time to enjoy the aroma and flavor of the elderberries? Read more:
